I am trying to reset my mates service interval using moto scan and an OBD link lx. Can anyone tell me the model number for his bike. It is an R1200GS Lc 63 Reg

Don’t be surprised if Motoscan shows the ODO reading in kilometers rather than miles

From memory you need to reset the date (it will add 1 year from the date set on the bike) and the distance, by default I think it will add 10,000 km (again not miles) to the current bike reading, I think you can modify this but I’d leave it default

I use Motoscan on mine, works perfectly

Thanks guys. I used the motoscan to reset my wife's f650gs (800cc) service interval. Then I tried to reset my mate's R1200GS LC however it could not connect. I have the professional version of motoscan. Can you only use for one bike ? Do I need to upgrade to the ultimate version to do multiple bikes?

You must have ultimate to recode accord to motoscan website, no limit on bikes

Professional is all you need to reset the service reminders, I guess Zach knows that as he’s already reset his wife’s bike

As far as I know there is not a limit on the number of bikes you can connect to, maybe try connecting stuff in a different order?

I think you connect the dongle before you switch the bike on for example
