Model update announcement to be expected soon?

my Nav 5 has well hidden mode to switch it to the correct orientation (portrait like all sat navs should be)

but as soon as you plug into a BMW bike it ignores this correct setting and reverts so I can't see where I'm going - but its OK coz I can now see 10 miled to the left and 10 miles to the right of where I'm never going to go.... all driven by the insanity of Pin ? this mistake should be switchable - so grown ups can use the nav like a tomtom manages it RFT
no idea what it does on the old bracket - but having fathomed how to get the bike to control the nav as I played in the garage, as I moved my hand towards the Nav the thing changed brightness - had a play, as you create a darker area around the sensor on the bottom left of the bike's LCD screen - its brilliant - on this bike brightness is infinitely variable with the Nav 5 based on the bike's sensor

Did the same , test rode the V2 back to back with the new V4s , as good as it is , it’s still made to a budget . If you push it , the bike shows its weakness unlike the V4 s which just performs. I did say to the dealer , make an S version with the current Sky Hook on the V4 and I may have been tempted . Ad a fun bike I get it , but a serious fast bike , no.
V4 s or R1300 all day .
Just bought the new V4s . For the record.
Could have had the PP but not suited to fast back roads . It likes smooth roads lol .
Take an All Road bike as stick a 17 on the front , not a good idea .
Had a 15 1200 multi then an 18 1260 multi. The body work on those DVT multis was beautiful, IMO the best looking multistradas. The V4 out performs but has lost all the beauty. Aside from the V4 top speed, only rider skill will leave a well ridden 1300gs behind

Agree , 100% , but the V4 is better , I ride with an ex racer on the 1300 , he’s close but the v4 works better , yes I raced as well and is a great day , but the V4 works better . It annoys him a lot :ROFLMAO:

As they said above, 2026 is already announced and it includes a few more bits like rear collision warning, new 719 Biscaya option (looking pretty sharp in blue) and I believe there's also some changes to the light (haven't confirmed that yet).

Have a look at my video see if that helps you at all:

Thanks! Already came across your video, which I found pretty helpful! Thanks for taking the time to publish it.

Interesting. Why do you prefer the V4S to the GS?

For the 2026 model year, it's been confirmed that the TFT screen will be 10 inches and Sky Sports will be an option on a pay-as-you-go basis
