M'off in the morning ... CT125 'Adventure Cub'

T'was a very windy ride over Redmires to Leyburn this morning, a small 'mountain road', we had it to ourselves .... and needed the whole of it :D

At its best, at low speed, the Likkle Cub handles like a supermarket trolly, add high wind with gusts and I might as well be Mary Poppins :blast

The short stretch of Motorway was met with stationary and crawling traffic so I cut out and headed east and picked up the A19 south to Doncaster ... sorted and home by early afternoon!

Thank you all for your all your comments and wise words folks ... even the grumpy input from 'les miserables' :D

You lot really kept me going, where I might have cut and run for home. My sole intention was to take a small motorcycle on to Fairisle where my Bro lives ... why?

Because I can :thumby:

Thank you

:beerjug:

:clap:clap:clap:clap

Hats off to you Sir, an inspiration to many and a true adventure that puts many younger members to shame. :)

Been following this with real interest and have really enjoyed your wanderings, thanks!! FWIW my suggestion as a name for the bike would be ‘Fara’ the Celtic name for Fair Isle, seeing as it was the first bike to grace the island!!:thumby:

Researching the Celtic name of Fara to Fairisle. Got any links? Met with blanks at the mo :blast

Still looking, ‘cos I like it .... plus I lusted over Farrah Fawcett Majors back in the day :D

So its time for the fat lady to sing, the trip is done. I can’t thank you guys enough for keeping me going ... you’re the inspiration, believe me :thumby:

Thank you for sharing.
I feel like i have been to Fairisle

Thanks for sharing your adventures on the plucky little postie, it’s been a pleasure and a privilege following you.

If you like the names Fara and M’Fara, because of the connections with Fairisle then..

How about Mo, a nice and short abbreviation

As in Mo Farra the runner

I’ll get me hat 🤦🏻
