Monitor/TV - Why?

Why does this happen?? Anyone know

I am using a Phillips HD Flat screen TV 22" Widescreen for my PC. Looks the biz and is fine.

However when i boot up the normal windows screen comes up blah blah and then my Monitor (TV) comes up as no input!!! If i go to back of tower disconnect monitor(TV) and plug straight back in again Da Da display back on

Somewhere during the boot up process its loosing its input??!!! Dunno..

Any ideas guys?? Saves me having to disconnect - re-connect monitor (TV) cable every time i turn on PC.

what if you turn the TV off and then on
or
change the input to AV and then to the DVI or whatever the computer is on and see what happens

How have you connected the TV? Have you got the appropriate drivers installed for the TV?

If you turn the tv on and off it still works fine but tried everything else

Two ports on Graphics card and they are both the same...

Drivers for a TV Stu???

normaly windows will select a generic driver for the display, sometime you need specific drivers for displays so the computer can use the fully. Am I correct in asuming that you are using DVI connection?

Just make sure the TV is set as the primary monitor (1) and it is set as a TV. Should fix it
