Yup. Brand new one here. Had never left the house and ran fine for 48hrs.
Crashed twice whist setting it up after update.

To be clear it is version 19.20 which has the shut down issue.
Reinstalled previous 19.10and all is well...for awhile...

19.10 works but in doing the downgrade accept that you will have to set all your personal, settings/preferences etc all over again.

And no there is still a goof- reverted back to 19.00

If my memory serves, it seems to me that the dot. something updates are the worst intermediate ones.

and the latest news from Garmin is:
Having replaced the bushings which they sent me and alas had no effect- Garmin now tell me they now have a 'new' version of the Montana 700 with altered electronic bits and bobs to correct the shut down problem and they are replacing my duff one with one of those under warranty.

I haven’t used my 700i for a while but I’m planning to this year.

Garmin replaced both units and mounts last year, after the shut down and wouldn’t calculate a route issues.

Before I invest time an effort into installing the new mounts, setting up maps and the like, do they now work?

While I’m here, I’ve updated the software on one unit, and noticed it doesn’t have the Cyclops camera database. Has it been removed, or was it never there and I’m mixing it up with the XT? Would someone mind checking for me please?

No cyclops. Latest software seems ok as long as you DO NOT have auto record set.
Will record an actions don’t have auto start on as that still cause the odd shut down.
Start it and auto pause is fine and stable.
