Hi All
I said I'd suggest some pubs close'ish to Wolves for the next meet. Time is estimated from the city center and on A or B roads. Most I have been in at some point, usually on the bike. Hope that gives some food for thought. For comparison the Plume of Feathers is 45 minutes.
The pubs are based on my recollection as I have been in them or passed them regularly when out riding. I'm happy to go and check out any others, not that I need excuses to get the bike out.
On the A454 (West) out of Wolverhampton
The Mermaid 10 mins out
The Fox at Shipley 15 mins out
Seen bikes there regularly, never been in myself
The Wheel at Worfield 20 mins
Very popular bikers Wednesday evenings
Very quite Tuesdays
Gaskell Arms 40 mins (Much Wenlock)
A very nice pub very cosy
On the A41 (North West) out of Wolverhampton
Dog and Gun on the Tettehall Road 5 mins
Very nice pub
Foaming Jug 20 mins
Also very nice
Fox at Newport 30 mins
Very nice
On the A449 (North)
Fox and Anchor 10 mins (by 3 Hammers golf)
Very nice pub. Can sit out the back by the canal
Four Ashes
Always popular with bikers 15 minutes
On the A5 (North East)
Tumbledown Farm 15 minutes (I've never been in)
Four Crosses 15 minutes

Anyone know a good local place for an 03 1150GSA battery (heated grips/non ABS)? I feel a comeback happening.
