Moose

On a recent tour of the Black Forest I had a rear wheel puncture that failed to seal when I tried a can of Moose. It developed into a small split that could not be sealed with a plug so it was a trip to the nearest dealers to replace the tyre. The problem now is that the tyre flung out a spray of moose as I tried to limp to my hotel which was a few kliks distant. This has now left spotty deposits all over the panniers, mud catcher and top box which have hardened.
Anyone had a similar experience and if so what did you use to get it off?

Have you tried baby oil. It gets most things off including tar spots and leaves your black plastics looking and smelling nice. Obviously be careful near your brakes etc.

A bit of petrol on a rag or WD40.
