I've discounted Hein Gerickes trail jkt/trs now after previous post.
So HG toureg Rallye LC3 jkt/trs can any owners give me their expert opinion,
the blurb only say's water resistant outer, with waterproof inner lining, does this mean it will soak up water until it gets to membrane if so its going to be one heavy jkt. anyway any thoughts would be welcome.

Your spot on. A lot of off road jackets have a removable waterproof liner, this is ok until you forget to take it and then it pisses down.

Meaning if you want to be waterproof in warm weather,you`ll have to sweat your plums off inside the waterproof membrane within the outer garment.

What a load of shite.

Buy something with a fully waterproof outer.

depends what sort of jacket your after and how much you want to pay.

I've got a HG Cruise in black and had it for over a year and it's never let me down. It has a romovable winter lining and a couple of vent zips front and back for summer use. My brother just brought one in blue (imported though HGuk from germany) and he loves it.

Or if you want cheaper go for the HG journey
