Have my bike booked in for a service and general look over for thursday.Wanted to talk to the mechanic doing the work on my bike but was told he is part time and does their classic bikes so not in untill thursday.
Asked if i could hang around during the service but then got told it takes 4 hrs b4 the engine is totally cold and they begin work so i would have to go home.
Maybe i am paranoid but is this guy winding me up:comfort

Are there any other airhead mechanics in the wiltshire area that wouldnt mind me asking loads of stupid questions while working on my bike lol

There is or was a guy in Lambourne, I think his name is Mike Dore? I can't find his number right now, maybe someone else here knows?

it is a shame you just missed the Devon wee-kend, as you would have been able to do everything yourself under expert guidance, try to make it next year.:thumb

Right i am going to service the bike myself but i would still like a mechanic familiar with airheads to look the bike over to see if mechanically sound..compression test etc.
So does anyone know of an independent mechanic in the wiltshire area please
