Just want to say to all you Morocco bound GS ers who are leaving in a couple of days, have a fantasic and safe trip, I'm sure you will all remember it for the rest of your lives.

Our own trip, which more or less begins as you return has just suffered a slight set back. One member had a Transit pick up reverse into him at a set of traffic lights wrecking his mint R100GS. So we are down to four. (You just never know where the 'enemy' will strike from next, keep your eyes peeled lads).

Due to a slight cock up in ferry arrangements I shall be in Northern Spain waiting for the others for a few days, possibly riding around the Picos, and shall be in the area when you return to Bilbao.

Paul G has my mobile number, (07967301096) so do you now.
If any of you has a problem and/or needs a spare part for instance, ring or text me and I shall see what I can do from this end.

Enjoy. Have a good one.

Thanks for your good wishes.

If any reader of the BB wishes to meet up, I'll buy the first round next Saturday night (10 May) in the bar of Hotel Tafilalet, Erfoud.

By my reckoning, there could be sixteen of us - the twelve that are with me, plus Pedro and his crew and Henry.

We'll try to leave some beer for those that follow ....

Greg sorry mate can`t make it for a beer working Saturday night in THE FEZ BAKERY, 76 Fore Street, Erfoud.
MOST EXCELLENT, Road Kill Pasties make their debut in Marocco, almost wishing I was going now... :D Don't forget Bakes, if you need any tips I will be at my desk in Quality Control at Burbidges, Weyhill Road Andover so give us a call any time 01246 243600 :thumb

The best laid plans

Well i wish all you Maroc bound adventurers my best. Unfortunately i will not be there, as after 9 weeks on the sick (another knee op) i didn't think the company would go for me having a month off to go offroading around Morocco. Having the time off was no problem, just the offroady bit, and believe me everybody in work knew i was going. So i'm stuck at the moment with all my plans up in the air until i get to work in 12 days time (jury service first) and try to fight for a 13 (working)day break in July to hopefully do the Stelvio and Stella Alpina Rallies in Northern Italy.
Again have a tremendous time and have a pint for me at Erfoud.

Was that 'in' or 'in front of' the jury Henry?
 :grndevil :hide

And I thought I was being polite, for not raising the same question.
So come on Henry, which is it?

Had the 'Call' myself a few months back, ended up being head juror, friggin nightmare.

Well Tim, Greg and team will be getting off the ferry soon, so hope you are ready for the phone calls...

Lets see, 1st call - Reverse charge from northern Spain..

Bakerman asking about bail bond insurance, how does he claim ? :D

Anybody else noticed how polite, courteous and relevant the posts have been in the last 24 hours?

I wonder how long it will be before Bakes tries to run over his first camel to satisfy his search for the ultimate road-kill pasty?

:D

Where's Erfoud? Not on my Autoroute.

We are going into Morocco about the 29th, so I dont know if any of you lot are still going to be around by then......

Isn't Morocco such a great excuse to lose the cat and gain a nice shiny Remus :)

(and a GPS, K&N, Ohlins etc etc etc)
