Morocco Adventure 2016

Mine lands at 9:50 and being the first flight out of Luton is likely to be early, any others landing around this time it might be worth waiting and getting a cab

I'm getting in on Saturday evening. No idea what happens after that yet :nenau:beer::D

Happy to share a cab with you, my flight is only 40 mins later than yours.

Luggage & Tools

Who's taking what?? We sharing the carrying of tools??

What's the general plan as regards luggage, are we travelling mega light, shirt, trousers, flip flops, basic tools, small wash bag, all in a small dry bag or we putting soft panniers on?

I do want to look my best for the Zagora village dance you know !! :ymca :chickendance :warrenrally

Carry your own tools, tyre repair, chain lube etc etc. for your own bike :beerjug:

You won't, or at least shouldn't, need panniers unless you're not using a roll bag.

Pack light, so save weight on clothes (bear in mind it can get cold/wet) but make sure your bike's got what it may need as far as possible.

Oh and a clean hankie, at least that's what my Mum used to say :D

Do you have any new Garmin routes for us Tim or are they same as last year?

Hi James, roughly the same as last year. I have a couple of others in mind but can bluetooth them to your unit if needed.

Wreford, will email you. :beerjug:

As an aside, next year I think we'll probably have an entirely new route visiting some of my old haunts and mix in some new as well :)

It's tarmac now most of the way, :tears remember this 2005, the year after that it was graded and later tarmac.

With my impending retirement next year Tim, I may well be on the XR for your Moroccan Jolly in '17.:thumby:
