I'm ready. had first service picked her up today, load bike tomorrow and decide if I'm using soft panniers or roll bag. Tools all out and ready to stow away on bike. The worry is the electronic Tow Bar on my car is broken so it will have to go back to BMW on Monday I just hope the fuckers can fix it or I'll have an extra 500 miles ride at the start of the trip and at the end of it ! Bugger !!

I think I'll use roll bag rather than soft luggage, keeps my packing down to a minimum.

Also I managed to stow some tools on the bike, got to love cable ties. I know we've been advised to take our own tools etc.. but I'm taking a small compressor, two large tyre levers and a bead buddy. It makes no sense taking 24 tyre leavers and 12 compressors, so if you need to use mine you are more than welcome but I hope you don't have to.
