Morocco GPS Maps

Hi,

Stumped over this: http://mapcenter2.cgpsmapper.com/maplist.php?country=26&region=37&category=2

To get it into Map Source read: http://freegeographytools.com/2007/adding-garmin-img-files-to-mapsource (I found that leaving the TYP files empty works just fine).

I don't know how good it is compare to the Morocco Typo maps.

I got it installed quite easily in MapSource, and as far as I can see it shows lots of small villages, and back roads, but bigger towns / cities are missing, but combined with the Morocco Topo and the latest update from Garmin it might be quite good.

I'll have to put it on my GPS and see how it looks like when all 3 are combined (don't know if is't possible with MapSource, or how to do it if it is).

I just try to add this recommended map to the Mapsource and I was not able to run Mapsource after it. The total program reinstallation needed.

Was anybody sucessful in this map dowload to Mapsource?

i had absolutly no problems .works fine and i know some other people without problems

I downloaded it no problem. I just used the 'installer' Link. Not sure wether it'll be of any more use than the 'topo' maps, A couple of comparitive screenshots.

Strange, I've never had this problem (and I've been doing my own overlay maps in the past). It could have been your registry which was messed up some how.
