Bike Mechanics Course

Guys, I've booked a roadside bike mechanics course with Black Desert Training in S Wales on Fri 27 March. If any of you fancied tagging along with me I'm sure we could work something out with Tamsin and Craig - maybe even a discount

Yes certainly, I will go through Chippenham, Malmesbury and Minety, means you'll have to go along the M4 to junction 17, I can meet you there if you wish then we can head up or if it's better for you through Tetbury then I'll meet you at the Cafe for 1 o'clock.

Ride out on Salisbury Plain - Sun 12 Apr?

Dear Wrong Direction, I reckon we should get together and have a mooch around Salisbury Plain before we go. So, 'speedfour4' has kindly offered to show us around and suggested Sun 12 Apr. That's a great idea, unfortunately I can't make the 12/4 but you guys go and have fun. I will however be doing some off-roading at the Off Road Skills course in Wales.

You may have seen I started a thread in the South West region part of this forum so please have a look and let us know if 12th works for you.

I practically live on the plain and I'm out on it every weekend with the dog so I am definitely up for that as long as it isn't tempting fate. Would hate for something to go wrong with the bike that close to D Day. The only issue for me is that I will probably still be on whats left of my Tourances though as I am not getting new boots fitted until late April/Early May but count me in anyway.

Ref the trail fixes course, time off work booked, if you give me some more details and the cost I am well up for it. I'm a complete biff when it comes to mechanics so it will definitely be useful.

Fair weather rider only eh Count?! Cracking ride into work today, apart from dead battery this morning and slow puncture in front tyre on the way home! Hope to have it fixed before our meet on Sunday - assuming EMJ Tyres is on hand tomoz! I'll check my route up on Sunday and work out where to hook up with you - unless it's raining in which case you'll be in the car!?

Er what was that you were saying Pikey - I refer you to your previous statement? That'll by why you have a GS - and not the Adventure! No pressure eh? I'm currently in Taunton trying to get my tyre fixed in Graham's Motorcycles - great traditional motorcycle garage, highly recommended.
