I'm thinking the same thing Patrick, if the weather looks good I will be there.
 
Spare Fuel

:idea If I dare mention it again, what are everyone's thoughts on taking spare fuel. I know I had the :censor: ripped out of me for mentioning it before but I have been seriously considering the idea of taking along a small jerry can of sorts. I note on the picture that Jeff shared with us the petrol can strapped to the back of the bike. Does anyone think it's worth taking one along or not? I don't particularly want to drag one round if it is readily available over there...

I've been thinking about the idea too. Not loads just 5l or so ?

My tank is 17L so about 250-300km a tank depending on riding and speed. A 5L will provide me with +- 100 km extra range so ill be bring my jerry can with me
 
Thought I'd load some music for Morocco onto my garmin, so far I have "Rock the Casbah" by the Clash and "The Road to Marrakesh" any further suggestions would be welcome.
 
I dragged than can around for about a week then decided to donate to a local, unless you're travelling so deep off road or you have a spill and loose most, you'll be really unlucky to need it.
Water was the issue, I used to start the day with 3 big bottles, I'd drink 1 and lose 2 :)
Beer was only scare the further south we got, and that was a few years back so can imagine they cater more for the tourist these days.
 
Here's another one. I have been given the opportunity to depart earlier than originally planned. Could leave as early as Sat morning now. Do I head down into northern Spain and explore or maybe even head into Morocco early or just stick to the original plan?? decisions decisions....

I afraid it's a decision that only you can make, weigh up the pros and cons then decide. Hopefully if the humidity, temperature, weather and road conditions reach my touring criteria I will see you at March Madness. :D
 
Yes a great useful resource, fair play to Tim for putting it together. Hope the weather is like this next weekend.
