If anyone is interested in heading off to Maroc the end of October you're more than welcome to join our group. We plan on scooting down through Spain and across at Tanger Med bound for the sun over the Atlas.

If you have a peep at this ride report you'll see what sort of donkeyhead you'll be dealing with and if it suits just let us know you're up for it.

Details will be filled in as and when they arrive...but the route will be similar and probably in reverse for a time. I've found a 500km piste south west of Marrakech so I'd like to include that and maybe head over to the coast when that runs out and returning north thereafter.

If anyone wants to ride just chime in...Frank and Friendly is the order of the day...

Thanks for those kind words Dakar....after you read the ADV report you get the ghist of how many Marx Brothers you can actually have :D

The number of days isn't quite finalized yet,though it'll be in the region of 14-18 days???....I just have to see closer to the time what's what with other peoples timings. I wanted to head off and rendezvous on the evening of 21.10.13 in Manzanares (south of Madrid)as the Santander ferry gets in that same morning...this would allow any UK dudes to make the rdv and for all to ride off together the next morning.

The ferry return timetable isn't published until August but I'd hazard a guess and say it'll more or less be the same as last years return times for the UK dudes. (We had 4 ride over last time)

Anyway..the more the merrier...

Can you put me on the list. I should be in Morocco now but some silly cow drove into the side of me in Malaga and while the 1200 GSA shrugged off her Kia with contempt, same can't be said for my left wrist !!

Yip...that report certainly puts Benny Hill and his team in a category as sensible.


No problem with adding as a maybe.... You just check in and see what's what every now and then. Turn up and go....leaving from France start saving about €150/month from now until then and you should be able to do it. You can see the approx costs at the end of the RReport. (I spent £750 which is not a bad price indeed IMO for a 2 week holiday)

If anyone is riding down through France from the UK and isn't taking the long ferry then they can stay at my house. You'll just need to tot up that extra cost.

A meet up to say hello can be arranged sometime?....I might,read,might be scooting up to the Alpes to hook up with a friend at the start of June.

I'll know closer to the end of this month!

Sounds like it could be a possible for sure as the timings are OK?....

(i.e.21st October rendezvous at Manzanares Spain)

I'll be working out a rough route soon for a laugh.

Nice thread on Adv. I notice a few did some of the off road loops. Will the 2013 format be the same? I do like a bit of off roading....
