Chaps & Chapettes
Just got back from another ramble round and added a bit to my old blog. Like last time, I took a bunch of pictures ( not all bike related , sorry!) but this time I included google maps of nearly all the route if anyone is interested in a route.
This link should start you on the most recent report. Like all blogs, the most recent post is last & you might need to give the page some time to load as there is quite a bit of content.

Overall, it was a great trip with fab weather. Sadly, my bike is a bit poorly but that will be fixed shortly.
I took TKC80s with the plan to do as much piste as practical. In retrospect I think I could have done the trip with Tourances. The wear rate was pretty alarming at the start but that slowed once they had worn down a bit. Go figure....maybe because the blocks moved round less once they were shorter? And this was despite riding like a complete nonce at 60mph all the way through Spain.
Having the knobbles on the front was confidence inspiring when the ground was loose so I would consider having a TKC on the front with a Tourance on the rear. Anyone got any experience of this mix?
