Is anyone planning a Moroccan trip, Portsmouth to Morocco by ferry before year end?

Yep, but we're going via Santander, then cross Spain to Tanger-Med via Algeciras.

I don't think there's a direct ferry to Morocco.

Is Portsmouth - Santander by ferry and then road down southern Spain to cross the only cost effective way besides flying?
I dont want to ride through Spain this time.

Suggestions anyone?

A small group of us are riding down through Spain on 25.10.12 until returning to France on 09.11.12. We'll be heading across from Tarifa to Tanger.

Through Spain is the only way to ride there directly...means to an end.

If you want to join us no problem...

Morocco trip

We are booked on the Portsmouth to Santander ferry on Tuesday 5.00pm ferry.
One stop in Spain one in Gibraltar then morocco for 5/6 days

We are also booked on that ferry Martin. Land cruiser with 7 bikes on a trailer.

We are leaving Algerciras on the afternoon of the 26th October and returning to Spain around 7-8th November about 6-8 of us going join us if you want.

Maybe a quick hello

Hope to be on a ferry to either Tanger Med or maybe Cueta (as I hear its now the place to stock up on the duty free before going over the border) I fly down to Malaga on the early flight on the 21 st Oct and pick up my bike.. Depending on whether it starts etc I may even be on a ferry that night but should be on a early one on the 22nd... Plan to visit some friends in Chef and after that see what happens .If you guys are heading south I may be heading up to the Med at the same time.. Shoot us a pm or a entry here if interested in a meet up
