Hi, Folks,

Advice needed please.

I'm thinking of going to Morrocco early May. Travelling alone, bike is a BMW 1150 RT. tourer.

Nothing too adventurous, no sand, no off road, all tarmac.

Good idea or bad idea.

Morocco Advice

Hi Big036

I did a solo two weeks in Morrocco in April 2006. I had a fantastic time, with no problems. I was on a GSA but didn't do any 'off road' as I was solo. You shouldn't have any difficulties, just search the forum for the excellent advice available and remember it is not europe. Roads generally fine but you need to be alert for the occasional pothole, drink plenty of (bottled) water as the temps are high even early in the year and take it all at a leisurely pace. There is masses to see and the people are terrific. Enjoy

:thumb Hi, great idea. The first time I went to Morocco was on an 1100RT. Didn't have any bother at all. The roads are fine with a great choice of scenery and no need to go offorad or on pistes. Just enjoy yourself.:thumb

Thanks fellers, thats boosted my confidence no end. Cheers.

Two up!

Morocco was my first choice but I don't fancy going it alone. What dates do you have in mind and do you want company for the trip? I'm free from May 4th.
Drop me a line either way.

Christ! Is there anyone from here (apart from me) NOT going to Morocco this spring?

Gonna be awful quiet round these parts...
