Most overpriced R1150GS on ebay?

Blimey, mine's looking cheap at 3 grand for a 1 owner 2002 model with 22k. I thought it was a little on the high side or just about right at that money. I might be tempted to stick it back on fleabay at 4 and a half grand. Or not.

But it's not an Adv... :P

I think this bike will only retain it's value if it's kept mint and never ridden. As soon as it's gone over 25,000 miles and not mint, the value will plummet.

It's worth £4,500 tops

Looking good for my 1150ADV SE with 1050 miles and 2005 ADV with 6k :D

There are loads of them out there at this price / mileage. I just paid 4.7k for a minty fresh 2001 R1150GS with 8000miles on the clock. More than happy, cheap biking with no or very little depreciation.

Hi Tetley - that yellow GS - that looks like my mates GS. Did you get that off big John in Reigate? He has/had a completely immaculate 1150gs with that kind of mileage. If it is, you have bought a beauty. Good luck keeping it as clean as he does /did.

Hi Mark,

The original owner was based in Leicestershire. He kept it at his holiday home in Cornwal, hence the low mileage. He has another one at his place in Japan! How the other half live.

If I was in the market for a clean 1150 adv then that bike would definately be top of the list. I wouldn't have a problem paying that. Each to their own innit.

I paid £5000 for my 2005 gsa with 18000 these bikes are worth the money imho,Steppers will be fettling mine next spring..imho that bikes worth every penny..

Sounds like a nice life. I bought a lovely 1100gs 4 years ago. Used it for a daily commute since and it's no longer the beautiful low miles bike I bought. But it's stood up well to the use, would clean up lovely if I ever cleaned it and has been very reliable. All for £3k. Hope yours serves you as well.

I'd wager there are moaners on here, 'an 1150Adv for how much !' who have thought nothing of spunking £12-£16k on a new 1200 that's lost more than the total price of an 1150 in depreciation in its first two years of life.

I've got my spare 1150GSA that's not moved much apart from services and MOT's that's mint 2004 (i think) about 10K on the clock with luggage and spares... I let it go for £10,000.00

Out of curiosity what would you value my gs at

Its done 35k miles. Bought it earlier this year for £3600. Is that cool?

Are you happy ? Then its cool.
Before the internet, folk bought something, used it and were happy. We spend more time worrying/moaning than we ought

There worth what you are prepared to hang on to it for.

Mine is a great bike, in nice condition with all the bells and whistles, but I couldn't find anyone on here to take it at the price I wanted. So I kept it :D

It's still a fantastic bike and my name is still on the log book, which makes it even better. I'm still open to sensible buyers, but they seem few and far between, so it'll remain in my garage and the Harley will have to wait.
