I'm currently sparring with my local dealer and thinking of buying a TE with Cross Spoke Wheels.

I have been deliberating long and hard over the colour and think I have narrowed it down to Grey or White.....I will have probably changed my mind again by tomorrow!

Now what interested me is that in the dealer’s sales pitch he can get a TE within a month and spec it to any colour. Now that we have agreed a price but not a colour, he's telling me that price is only for a red model and any other colour would cost more!

Dealers never change and I have to laugh, I'm not in a rush to buy and at the thick end of £14k, I'm not going to be forced by a dealer into A) getting a bike in a colour I don't want and B) pay more for one standard colour over another!

Now I can only assume that he has a spare red body kit on the shelf, or another buyer has ordered a red bike and changed his mind over colour and swapping the bodywork.

So I started wondering, which is the most/least popular?

Hey look, the OP asked a serious question and the obvious answer is WHITE.........................:D :P

White. Obviously . Blue isn't selling well, apparently. Anyway, bollox to that, you should be happy and consider your self lucky it's only going to take a month. I ordered a GSA on 15th March, I chased the dealer up yesterday and was told the delivery date hadn't moved from June ! Didn't anyone at BMW think they might sell well in the UK and import a few more ?

Must admit the blue has grown on me! See if we get any new colours for 2015??

I was surprised they didn't do black. Thought that would have sold very well. I looked at the blue but it seemed a bit too racing for me, more sports bike colour . Didn't like the seat either. Would be filthy in no time.

Buy both, than when one is having a new gearbox - frame - panniers - brake pads - engine - screen - water pump, you'll always have another to ride :)

But seriously a set of plastics will cost you £250, barter that into the deal and than offset it, into buying plastics in the colour you want and than you can swop and change as and when.
