I took a look for you...

Have not seen one Down here?
Personally? I like tools that fit just right. I have had trouble before with poor fitting Roadside Repair Underseat Tools. Be interested to hear from someone that has and used one? Still wouldn't hurt to carry one as well? Please. jim:beerjug:?

Anybody rate or recommend one of these?

I'm all for saving weight so long as it works!

How does that save Kilos over the normal tools you'd take on a bike. ?

And whats the point in saving weight if they don't do the job.

All these kits are shite if you need to do anything apart from tighten the wing mirror or cut a cable tie type jobs.

A Leatherman, a 1/2" drive breaker bar with sockets for front sprocket, axles and steering stem, plus trail tool with 3 extra sockets, a couple of extra allen keys and a spare screwdriver for good measure. Thats all you need to strip down most of a DRZ400. If you need to go further than this lot will take you i think its beyond most of us to do with hand tools you'd carry on a bike.

i believe in these tools, obvious as i run adventure-spec and sell them

Helps towards genuine light weight travel. Kit for 3 weeks in Morocco.......

Not for me on a GS :augie . i carry a spare rear bevel bearing, and clutch slave cylinder and a few other parts that are known to fail , and the tools needed to do the job at the side of the road.

And it's no great amount extra to carry, and i'm afraid your bicycle tools wouldn't do those jobs on a GS.

You can take the front end off a dirt bike using lolly sticks and a flat coke can :D

Returns

Satisfaction guaranteed..., or your money back!?? :augie

If you dont like it when you get it we'll refund the cost of the tool less shipping, but we cant refund stuff thats been used for obvious reasons, ie its unsaleable and we arent running a charity and breads expensive these days.......

We'll be at the Dirtbike Show, our stand is in the Endurozone next to TBM. Pop in and see us and have a fiddle with them (and the other fancy Motion Pro ali Chain Tool and forged ali levers) if you're not sure.

Ive never managed to strip my bike down with a coke can, but i'll take your word for it.

I suppose if you're riding a 200+kg GS, then saving that weight doesnt matter, so i take your point. I also understand that lots of fittings need torque bits. We have a torque bit set we've been playing with that you can drive with the 10mm socket in the kit. T20, T25, T30, T40, T45, T50 and T55. We may offer this as an option for about £8 if theres any interest, all the bits fit in the pouch with the tool. Im not a GS rider or expert so i dont know which of these are required for what bike, but we've had a few enquiries so have tried to offer something suitable.

I ride different bikes all the time, so having a couple of pockets full of tools i trust to get me out of the poo is well worth it. Im always prepared enough, and more prepared than most.

Motion Pro are a company who manufacture motorcycle tools, for motorcycles.

How do we do this?

Just a thought... you might like to subscribe if you're going to promote your business on here... ;)

Ive only replied to threads where people have been discussing our products to date, apart from where i asked for a bike to borrow for bashplate manufacture. Whats the deal with subscriptions?
