I used the front offside of a mini to do it to my CD175

You do need something a bit more heavy duty on a bigger bike though......
I used a 12 tonne dumper truck to totally dismantle an F650 a few years back......it was very quick though



I'd like to believe something like this tool would work well enough to rely on but I'm with Neil - I carry 'proper' tried and tested tools on my bike for the trips- I'd hate to be sitting there with 10 bikes at the top of a pass looking at something not up to the job when you really need it.

I'm prepared to have my mind changed though

Cos it uses less metal, makes it lighter and they can add '1' to the number of 'features' that the tool has.

lack of torx is a big disadvantage - i prefer to make up a little "get u home" toolkit myself, long handle swivel ratchet, few extensions,sockets, leatherman crunch ( £40 from ebay US but £80 in the UK) - seem to work for me in the past

leatherman crunch carried one for the last four years in the army and now as a civi working in some real s**t holes and its saved my bacon on more than one accasion
if your going to have a bodge tool this is the one just because of the mole grip on it
