Moto Piston Rally Picos October 2011

MOTO PISTON

We are on the tuesday boat so come over to the noisy northeners[ 16 of us]and have a drink with us

I hope the weather stops like today

5 days to go :bounce1:pullface

Heads up for those staying at La Pisa, they cannot accept cards-cash only so take plenty of wonga ;)
Also, no wifi, no phone signal and no internet, if you're self employed it's bliss :D

Thanks Steve, just spoken to (Shaun) Cookieboy and we'll see you at the boat.
Looking forward to riding a few trails, visiting the rally, walking the Cares Gorge and drinking some beer.

breakfast negotiations are going well. should have all the details soon :)

who's Shady?

Is it true that the 5000 curves rally is secret until the morning of the rally?
Trying to get the route for the gps, etc but these bloody spaniards dont answer the emails...

why do you think they invented The Inquisition?

been doing a bit of packing. i seem to have a tank bag full of tools, tubes and spares

Breakfast

The buffet breakfast included in the price you have already been quoted will be;

fresh bread - pan
bread for toast
good quality cereal such as musli and fruit and fibre
fresh fruit
fresh orange juice (not from concentrate)
yogurt
tea and coffee

sounds better than last time, for no extra :)

Cooked to order breakfast will range from 5 to 12.50 Euros and you can have any combination, the price depends on what you want. For example, scrambled eggs on toast up to a full English - bacon, sausage, egg, tomato, fried bread, beans.

travelling light(ish)*. for me anyway.

don't need connectivity for the iPad. it's loaded up with books, films etc. planning on taking the GoPro.

*experience suggests it will not end up that way

Slow and light from the SW, I think Shaun and I will be travelling at the same snails pace. You'll be on your 3rd beer by the time we get to La Pisa
