Love it...

...that's the kind of photo that needs someone in flairs in the background, smoking either a Tom Thumb or a pipe with St Bruno Ready Rubbed!

Great picture, lovely bike :thumb2

Yes, I'm really taking it. It's not nearly as bad as you think, but I must admit that it falls well short of the GSA for comfort and roominess. I can always stop, stretch my legs, walking round admiring it.

Glad the ferry's doing the donkey work though :)

It looks like you were blessed with better weather in your part of the world yesterday than we had

Roll on Wednesday only 2 weeks to go :JB

very lucky to have a nice ride out in the morning, walked rent-a-dog in the new forest in the pm. pissed down with rain when we got back to the car :)

Just spoken to Shaun (cookieboy) who's off camping for a week. His plans are the same as mine, taking the R80 for relaxed days riding the roads and trails in the Pico's, going to walk the Cares Gorge one day and happy to move to another hotel in the area for the 2nd half if thats what others do, before catching the ferry back to Plymouth on Wed 12th.

:)

i have emailed la pisa with our breakfast wish list. i'll let you know as soon as i hear from them.

i'm really looking forward to this trip now :)

got reply:

"Hi Martin, thanks for your message. No problem at all, we can do that for you. I'll just ask Dad to price everything up and get back to you.
Just a couple of things to check with you - by real orange juice do you mean freshly squeezed? There is no problem with fresh bread, we can get the Spanish 'barra de pan' which is like a baguette. Is this OK?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
Claire"

so, if there's any last minute tweaks, requests etc. get them here asap, and i'll pass them on :)

Thought the Glasto trolley test drive around the garden was a better vid to be honest, I thought the dungarees were fab :D

those dungarees were an integral part of all my greatest creations.

i was fucking mincey in that video though :blast

Just collected my bike from the garage after it had a quick service and all ready.
My oxford throwovers fit perfectly so them and the little rucksack strapped to the tail and I'm sorted.

jet found the panniers i intended to use, sit on the "silencers".

back to the drawing board :blast

oh, and i've talked myself into a new pair of BT45s too :D
