Just had my 2024 R1300GS given a 6k / 12 months service by Ted - Moto Revive
A proper nice guy
Work done at my home address, so no bike cleaning to be done
Ted let me know when he was arriving
Full BMW spec service. Bike has been updated, as has the BMW app, so it will stop mithering me now
I got the bike in April 25, but it had it's run in service done in February 25
I didn't get as many miles on this year so it's date to be done was tomorrow 11th
All now done and no worry for me over the warranty
Appreciate Ted opening his book early to do this.....Thank you and highly recommended
If you're thinking about it, contact him. Thinks he's going to get busy

Just as an aside. I did email BMW Customer Service to enquire what their view would be should I service the bike later, say March, with no further mileage
The 1st two responses were in relation to conditioned service (Cars). Eventually I got a response tht related to the bike:
'Unfortunately, there are no tolerances when it comes to the service intervals.
In the event your bike is serviced late and develops a fault which has developed or caused due to the late service, we withhold the right to not cover under your warranty.
The next best thing I can help you with is contact your preferred BMW Motorrad Approved Centre, and see if I can arrange for them to hold your bike whilst you are out of country, so they can perform the service. However, this can't be guaranteed as it's all up to what the Centre offer.'
