Glad to hear it all worked out fine. Have had dealings with MCW since I bought my GSA 1150 last year and I have to say that the service I have received from them has always been exemplery. Even when their workshop burnt down and things were clearly quite difficult for them they always went out their way to help me out. I am of the opinion that if someone has a problem with a dealer it is best to call them up first and try to resolve the issue before going public on a forum. Most issues are usually down to misunderstandings and can be easily resolved.
Good bunch of guys (and girl) at Motorrad West. Will be taking my GSA in spring for it's service.

Totally agree with you. Going by the BMW rule book ! MCW were playing by the rule book which they are perfectly entitled to ! However, sometimes a little common sense goes a long way ! You pay top money for a quality product. To close the issue ! I wasn't looking for something for nothing . The matter has now been resolved.

1)The reason I bought a BMW. Was, the GSA 1200 is suited to my height & it will do everything I need it to !

2) I rack up above average miles throughout the year.

3) Most importantly. You associate quality with German engineered products.

4) Dealer facilities & back up !

On the whole the team at MCW are really nice people & I always enjoy the craic .

From the moment I walked into MCW I've had nothing but excellent friendly service- even on that first visit as a 'tire-kicker'

(Some tire kicker-I left the happy owner of a nice 1150 GS )

When I got new tires fitted this year it was at MCE - again excellent friendly service.
