Ok, I'll admit, don't know why, but I think I was a bit biased against Givi products..

Things changed at the NEC show yesterday, came across the givi stand..
Those lovely smoked hand guard extensions... WOW..
Then I got having a good look at their other stuff for the Wasser.. All pretty nice & looked 'Quality'
The engine bars.. Really nice & anodised silver finish complimented the bike really well..

Ok.. Now a moan.. No prices on their website.. Or if they are I need to sign up to see them... Pitass..

I'm sure they will sort that as it's a pretty flashy site & even works on my iPad..

The Givi site has lots.

Try Googling 'Givi motorcycle products'

Aw, feck it.... Go to Givi website.

Delete advert for Motorcycle Show, by clicking on the X

Hit 'My motorcycle' from tabs at the top.

Can't or don't want to? OK, here's a shortcut....

http://www.givi.co.uk/my-motorcycle

Hit BMW

Scroll down to find the bike you want.... The 13 registered WC is there.... Wonder at the pictures.

Now a moan.. No prices on their website....

Didn't you ask the Givi monkeys on the stand for a price list?

Or were you too overcome by the awesomeness of the Givi range, struck dumb and open mouthed in wonder?

From the main Givi website (via the power of iPad):

GI.VI. LTD
UNIT 4 - ROYAL OAK COURT - DAVENTRY, NORTHANTS - NN11 5PQ
tel. 044 1327 706220 fax 044 1327 706239
[email protected] www.givi.co.uk

Give them a ring for a price list..... While you are on the phone, be a 'bikermate' and ask them to post a picture to Dave Hendy; he'll never manage it on his own.

PS The Givi chimps in Daventry are very helpful. I contacted them in the pre-IPad / www. world (when it was really hard to find things out) and they came up trumps with some bits.

I also liked the look of the GIVI products, the hand guard extensions are nice and the screen they had on the WC was of better quality than the NN screen I bought. People at the stand said they would be out early 2014. Worth a look ..........

Which might explain why there is no price list (and maybe no pictures ) in 2013, perhaps?

Cue groans, echoing across the ether from another thread, that it's unreasonable to have to wait... "We want it and we want it, NOW!"

Amazingly enough I did manage to find the web site and I also have the APP on my ipad:teacher

I go on their site quite regularly but it must have had a big update recently I have their rear rack for my top-box and have used their stuff for years on various bikes. Their photos aren't always great so this is why I asked for a photo as it might have given more detail also I was not aware the new bits were on their site! Aren't the hand guard extensions likely to break quite easily:nenau

Are the handguards likely to break?

Depends on how hard (and how often) you clump 'em, I guess. But that could apply to just about anything on your bike or 'steed' (as some like to call it).

The Givi ones might look smart but wouldn't they be more likely to break than the Touratech ones?

Buy them, if you like them over other offerings. Try hard not to test their robustness too hard, just as you will (hopefully) not test your helmet's integrity against the road or a tree, anytime soon.
