Guys who do you recommend, and who is best value for money etc. Need a DR350 lifted from midlands in UK to Ireland, I'm in the north but can travel to collect if I can get it over here.

What price are people paying for this service roughly? approx, ive always nipped over and got them myself but this seems to be more popular these days

About £300 for door to door service. Another vote from me for Biketrans. Professional and courteous. It works out better than flying over and racing back to Holyhead for a ferry. But it may depend on how much money you normally charge out your time at.

After pricing it all out; Flight, ferry, transport, fuel, food, etc it came out at about €320/330. Biketrans wasn't much more than that door to door. He picked the bike up at the dealership on Thursday afternoon and delivered it to me first thing Saturday morning.
I used this guy last year to get bike from North Yorkshire to Derry. Cost me £175.

He was recommended to me and I found him to be reliable enough. He has a properly kitted out van, tail lift etc.
Bike arrived when he said although he was difficult get on the phone once or twice. But overall no complaints. I think he his over and back quite regular.

Hi guys, ive seen you are giving Biketrans a good report - if its the same business I think it is just wanted you to be careful - we sent some money over to him and cannot get it back, he had done a few trips for us previously. Will let you know if it appears, so hope it is a big error on his part otherwise will have to go to court. Be careful - contact us for further info
