Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good motorcycle valeting company in the midlands (preferrably up near Stoke-on-Trent or mobile). Yes im a lazy sod and cant be bothered to do it myself at the minute!! :D :D

The only people i can find are based in london. :nenau

Any help appreciated.

There' s guy in worcester but I can't remember his name. I'll see if I can dig out his number but I'm not sure he'll travel to Stoke.

See HERE. I just asked a local valet company and they quoted me £25 - £30 IIRC. They obviously don't do bikes normally (probably because they don't get asked) but in fairness they did a superb job on my old Adventure.
 
Mobile motorcycle valeting

I'm a mobile motorcycle valeter based in Northwich, Cheshire. I clean all bikes thoroughly by hand only unlike car valeters who often use pressure washers. I never use a pressure washer which prevents damage to bearings and seals and also stops water ingress into both engine and fuel systems, if you don't like the job when I've finished you don't pay!

Prices start from £30 and this includes a full bodywork hand wash, de-greasing, road grime removal, detailed cleaning of wheels, brakes and transmission. Additional levels of service also available. All products used are eco friendly, drop me an email and I'll give you my mobile if you'd like further information.

I hope you make a better job of cleaning bikes than you do of making out that this thread wan't set up for a bit of free advertising on UKGSer :D

I'm sorry am I missing something? I saw the post and offered the guy some help, that's it. I thought that was how it worked and I never expected such a reaction? Motorcycle valeting is my business and I'm always looking for leads to follow up that's how business works. I did my daily google search, found the post replied, that's it. No other agenda, sorry if this has caused offence and I won't post on here again.

It's usual for business's to subscribe, and then they can advertise to their hearts content. It'll cost £12 a year and I bet there's a few people in the North West that might use your services :augie

Fair enough I take the point about advertising and for £12 I'm willing to give it a go. Yes I'm advertising on Gum Tree and elsewhere as well having my own website. Just offering an honest service in hard times! :thumb2
 
heheheh :D :D You are all a bunch of suspicious tossers!!

In truth, I have just bought an 1150 GS on Sunday and wanted to give it the showroom treatment to take some pics to put in my album of 'bikes I have owned' :) Sad I know :D It makes for good winter viewing, I can sit and get misty eyed over days gone by whilst supping a wee dram. :)

If you come down to the Worcester/malvern area I will save your number. Got to say, these valetors are really good for doing your bike before selling, adds a lot of value, for little expenditure.

Yes, a GS1000 (Suzuki not a Beemer ahem.......) with a Wiseco 1100 big bore kit and a single sided swinging arm, also ride a '78 Suzuki GT250X7 and race a monoshocked Suzuki X7 based sprint/drag bike!

Currently only clean bikes in and around Cheshire but if business spreads I'll travel where necessary :)
