Talking about late delivery, what about issue no.14 pf Motorcycle Voyager being two months late. OK, this issue is now in the shops but those suckers who bought subscriptions, and should have been at the front of the queue, are still waiting. And NO EXPLANATIONS in spite of furious postings on the message board of their website.

I have completely given up with this Magazine, despite enjoying it (when it occasionally arrived) & having taken out a subscription - which I will NOT be renewing.

Talk about customer service; never a reply to my e-mails, renewal notices being sent whilst not delivering the existing subscription, same renewals asking for more than new subscribers....................

In future, I will buy it only if it's in front of me in the shop rack....................

Real shame:(

Haven't yet received my first copy of new subscription.

They have returned my calls to say that they have had problems obtaining copies to send out to subsribers.

I got so mad with my subscription copies failing to appear until 3 or 4 phone calls that I resolved to not renew....and then the last 2 copies came bang on time without prompting.

I have`nt renewed though, I`m not going through all that again.

My wife bought me a years subscription at the bike show. I had a chat to the guy on the stand and apparently the problems stem from them changing from bi-monthly to monthly. The original publishing company was unable to to deliver and they had to find one who could. According to the chap we spoke to it's now been resolved and the magazine should be rolling out every month from December. He assured me that EMAP did NOT and will NOT be the publishing company, so it shouldn't end up like so much of the biking press.

Personally, it's the only magazine I buy every month, although MSL very good I only buy it if there's something I'm particularly interested in.

If Issue 14 was an example of the new company structure then they haven't quite got a handle on the idea that subscription's generally entitle the subscriber to receive a copy before the masses that haven't provided the the finacial support by paying for 10 issues up front....

We'll see only have until Issue 22 on my sub from LAST year that Steve Bloke organised for GS members!!!!

Are you still on here Mr Cain?

My wife took a subscription out for my birthday in Jan 2004, I recieved the bi-monthly issues but since then one issue wasn't published and then nothing since August. All you get is excuses from the distributors and forget E- Mails to the editor because you donn't get replies.
To add insult to injury the latest issue was for sale at the NEC show and new subscriptions were being taken and then it was in the shops two weeks ago.
I eventually got my September ! issue on 03/12/04 and it was crap and all the letters to the editor show a rosy picture about how great the magazine is.
The distributors state that it is the editors fault for diverting the deliveries and then they even refused to give me a postal contact address as I intended demanding my money back.
Needless to say I will not be renewing my subscription as the magazine looks like it is about to go belly up and I will not be contributing to their redundancy funds.

Im a subscriber too & have just recived my copy of no14 after my wife had seen it in wh smith last sunday so I emailed laurence (editor) he sent me a reply appolgising & my copy arrived thursday 2 months late i had even boned them at the show & they promised me within 2 weeks.
I will see how it goes as ive th free one that you get for it being late so it will run out in august time so ill see how they go from now on.
I like the mag though its better than the other crap on the shelves I only buy that & sport & leisure which has its moments sometimes like a 3 minute read.

Received issue 14, very dissapointing. Its tuening into just another bike mag if its no better next month I won't be renewing my subs

The Norton bit was quite good but the Rocket-3 bit with words by one bloke and pics of the Gladiator that didn't tie up looked like Mr Cockup came to town..... as for all the H-D stuff, bit wearing after a while....

Motorcycle Voyager - gone?

is it still there???
Subscription issues dont arrive
They dont reply to emails
Website doesnt look like it's been updated for some time
And they dont answer the phone.
Has it folded?

I make that, as near as dammit, 4 months since the last post.

I think that *yes* is the correct answer to your last question.
