Motorrad Central Dalkeith ride out Sunday 22/3

Yep, first ride out, will be there, 600ml service getting done on the 18th, weather not warm but as long as it's not wet:thumb2

Cool, come say hello. I'll be on a GSA...

red one with waterbottle mounted on the Adventure screen brace to narrow it down.

Nice to meet you today mcinlb, lost you for the rest of the day amidst the large group!

Yea , the group must have been stretched out for a mile on some of these roads... a good day out for most of us , blackbird owner exception

The Blackbird guy was ok thankfully. He has had that bike 16 years, had it from new, I was toward the back of the group, came round the corner to see the bike wedged under the bumper. The GSA behind him managed to avoid going down but did catch and bend his engine bar on the Honda's exhaust.

Later on one of the staff hit an eagle/buzzard which just flew out in front of him. He stayed on but a shame to see a nice bird of prey "explode".

Myself and 9 others from the DBF were out for a wee run up Glen Lyon, was looking forward to my customary tea and a scone at the post office.

Imagine my disappointment that the place was mobbed out.

Went to Killin instead for lunch, seen you lot again at Aberfeldy where a couple of our group refuelled .

Was a nice day out, always like Loch Tay

GSA= and broke my left wrist, thought it was bit sore at the time.

I had a wee run out on this ride out as well. I took my HP4 for a run after getting it painted red. Going over the top of the dam, I realised that I had brought the wrong bike with me, never mind I'll treat my Adventure to a track day.

Was a good turn out, glad everyone was OK.:thumb2
