Fitted my Baehr Verso XL and Dista U intercom, its just the job. The Verso XL allows me to listen to Sat Nav and Mp3, while the Dista U radio gives me Bike to Bike. I`m really pleased with the quality of sound and being able to stow the Dista U radio away, with just the remote ariel in view, really makes for a tidy convenient package. I'm only using half its capability at the moment, but it gives great flexibility to expand later on. Brother has the same package and is also delighted with his. I was considering hooking the mobile up to it, but decided against that, I don't really want to be pestered by the phone while riding.

Chris at Motorrad Concepts, has given first class service throughout the purchase. Its a shame more companies don't have even half as good customer service, it would make our lives so much easier.

So hears a Big thumbs up :thumb for Motorrad Concepts, Top company and people. Cheers. :thumb

If anybody wishes to see pics of the setup, let me know and I'll post them later.

(Oh and No I don't work for Motorrad Concepts. I'm just a satisfied customer who wishes to show my satisfaction). :D

Pictures would be great :thumb

I won a Verso XL at the Hogroast Raffle, must fit it sometime, It came with a headset for a standard helmet and I'll have to get a set to fit a flipfront.

I've never seen one on a bike before as i've always used Autocom in the past :nenau

Shep,

That's a top pice of kit to win. I've got one fitted to my 1150, and the intercom is superb. I've not used it with a phone, but have tried it with an MP3 player and a GPS connected.

My previous intercom was an Autocom system, which I would have to say was probably as good, but I find that the range of adjustments for the Verso make it more versatile.

A few pics of the installation of Baehr Verso XL and Dista U

As requested by shep, here's a few pics of the Verso XL and Dista U fitted to my GSA. As many of you know, space is pretty limited on the GS12/GSA12, so its pretty crowded under the seat. The Verso XL is in the under seat tray and the Dista U is on the back of the airbox.

I used velcro to attach the Dista U to the airbox, having removed the metal manual holder.

Here's the PTT button for the Dista U bike to bike. The rocker switch allows you to adjust the volume as well as turning the bike to bike off.

Hope this is of use to you shep. :D

Thanks for that :thumb

Is the Dista U a radio or just an interface between the radio and the intercom :nenau

Shep

The Dista U is a bike mounted/powered PMR radio which needs to be used in conjunction with a Baehr intercom unit.

We also do a Dista which is a standalone bike to bike unit, in other words it does not need a Baehr comms unit to make it work, but you can't hook any other audio source to it, ie GPS MP3, phone etc......

BaehrUK website is still under construction....it's taken us far longer than anticipated with well over 500 product lines.....so much so that we've now sub-contracted the whole job out to a professional web developer rather than keeping it in house.

We anticipate it being ready in 6-8 weeks........

Cheers
