Anyone shed any light on the latest situation with the Motorrad Concepts Hugger? I finally got around to ordering one. First I found that the price had gone up by £50 (£165 > £215). Then I find that it seems to have been pulled from the web site.

Put my name down ealry on, to a reply of "your up for an early April delivery". Got an email at the start of the month to say mine was ready, but the new pricing is prohibitive now I'm over my "honey-moon spending period"!!

:D :D

We raised our prices two weeks ago.

Basic black hugger is now £174.95 (from £139.95).

Customers who ordered prior to that will pay the old price.

Our website on-line ordering works perfectly.....checked an hour ago.

Cheers

I can understand people's concern with respect to the price rise.

However I can assure any prospective purchaser that the hugger is an absoluetly superb piece of kit. It is beautifully finished, supplied with excellent instructions and actually works.

I received mine a few weeks ago at the old price. If I had not, and knowing the quality, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in buying one at the higher price - you really will not be disappointed.

This is the same story that everyone who has the hugger tells. I have yet to hear anything bad about this piece, and we all know that they stand behind their goods as well.

Received mine front and back colour coded blue on Friday bang on stated delivery timing fitted them Sat.

Went out and played yesterday 150 miles in the rain just to see how much difference they make to the condition of the bike afterwards.

Believe me any extra is worth it for the time you will save cleaning and polishing afterwards and they look great to!!.

Only concern with fit is on the front some juggling is required to get the 4 holding screws clamped up in such a position that at the back of the tyre the hugger was in line ( had to open the holes up slightly and dremmel a flat clamping face for the screws), this is due to the undulating shape on the inside of the hugger and the way the washers bite in, perhaps a flat inside face would MAYBE in my humble opinion give a slight improvement.

But all in all a well worth it bolt on

:)

OK Guys youv'e convinved me. I'll go for the black one!
Dutch - tried again but when I click on the hugger link from the product page I only get the extended fender and the GPS mount. Is there some setting I should check? It worked OK from my home PC last night but doesn't seem to from work today.

:)

Your browser is probably reading a version of the site from your system cache. (so your browser shows you a copy of the site as it was when you first visited it, not what is actually there now.

You can force this manually by pressing Ctrl R or right clicking your mouse and selecting refresh/reload.
To change ensure that you always get the latest version of a site :
If you are running IE,: Tools|Internet Options | Temporary Internet Files | Settings | Set to check for newer versions every visit to the page.
That should bring you up to date.

(Mine is black and I have to say, the quality is excelent - very happy with it)

Jerry - tried that but to no avail. Thanks anyway. I'll try from home later and see if that's still OK.

Ordered mine some time ago and paid for it today so I should have it this week :D :D

Of course now that its on the way the weather has picked up ;) so I might not be able to check its effectiveness for a while (I hope)

Also ordered the rear number plate thingy as I got fed up with the crap catcher & removed it a week or two ago.

Ditto. Got it last week, popped it on, straight out in the rain. Looks good, easy to fit adn it works. Job done.:D

Can repeat what everyone here says about how good the hugger is.

A brilliant piece of kit. I have been out and done a couple of thousand miles since it was fitted through some real bad weather and can confirm that it is well worth the money.

All sorted. Must be a problem with the work PC because it was OK from home. Order placed for Black Hugger and Splash guard. Looking forward to delivery.
