My APRR/Fulli tag is Fr/Esp/Pt. I can upgrade to include Italy but they would need to send a new device. Just the one I believe but it probably has an extra RFID chip that speaks Italian.

In Italy you generally pay only twice, getting in and getting out.
In France you pay every 50 meters... even though I drove from London mostly on B roads... I did some stretches of motorway and had to get out/in the car multiple times and made me reconsider getting a - very low - sportscar at 43.

Just swapped mine as the battery finally died in my old APRR tag
the old hardware was humongous, this is the new Fulli tag for 4 countries

Correct, no tolls east of Calais all the way to Lille. No tolls in Belgium

Only been to Austria once on the bike and didn’t realize I needed a vignette until I’d left
There are digital vignettes available but I’ve not tried myself

For Austria, buy at the border or most petrol stations, 10 day job about 5 euros.
Only need these if using a motorway.

I used a Ulys Classic for the first time on this years trip to France and Italy, but you can get Spain and Portugal added to it.
€8.90 to get it inc postage, and €2 charge for the month I used it, with no charge when it wasn’t used.
It worked on every occasion except one, but then I noticed a specific ’motorbike sidle through’ lane alongside the gate… just a bit different at that particular toll.

It’s worth adding that I had absolutely no success trying to use a Nationwide Building Society account for the toll tag with any of the various companies despite providing the correct IBAN details.
After many frustrating days I opened an account with Lloyds and it went through without a hitch first time.
There was a big thread about toll tags, but I thought this might be helpful to some… This was similar to the offer I got a while ago when it was called Mango.

You need a bank account capable of handling SEPA direct debits - I opened a Wise account online which was really easy to do and just gets funds sent to it when I know a bill is due.

The trick I found is not to approach too fast. If you do the sensors don’t have time to read the tag.

Seem a good enough for this times, when you are in the group of riders and your canny mate (no names) has stashed a TollTag in his pocket and sails through the barrier, shouting "Come on you faffing twat!!". Meanwhile one does dick about with gloves, coins and/or credit/prepaid card, that may or may not be accepted by the soul free apparatus, that is a contactless pad. Naturally, this only does add to the frustration of being charged to use the motorway network. Do these European Bas****s pay to use the Great British roads?

I will get one ordered. I hardly ever use toll roads, purely because of the faff involved without having a tag on you. But if having one and not being charged for using it, then it is a no brainer I guess.
Yes, in recent years, NE Spain has been the only troublesome place. It didn't work at all on the new AP-8 motorway south of Bilbao that bypasses the traffic infested A-8. On the way back from San Sebastian in pissing rain, the tag did not register at the eastern end of the AP-8 so I had to take a ticket. I presented the ticket at the staffed booth and as she read the ticket in the machine, the barrier went up and the toll was charged to the tag. Very weird. I had the tag in the front pocket of my tank bag as I had used earlier in the year in France.
