was browsing around bmw motorworks site and saw the booster plug....says it sorts out the lean running issues
on fuel injected bikes.improves throttle response and smooths out tickover....
anybody here tried one....at £150 a lot cheaper then the af-xied alternative....
cheers all

£150 for a resistor to fool the air temperature sensor into running the bike a bit richer in open loop until the BMSK quickly adapts it out with long term fuel trims is not a cheap alternative to a lambda offset device that actually works ( AF-XIED).
A booster plug and the AF-XIED cant be compared as they have totally different functions and end results.

I tried the original booster plug which cost about £20. Initially the bike ran rich making the throttle response woolly. It improved after a while (as the ECU adapted) but by then it was actually doing nothing much.
It wasn't worth £20 so Wunderflick are having a serious giraffe.
