motorworks service

+1 :thumb2

I have always had excellent service from them.

Sometimes parts are out of stock but that's life. The delay is usually very short in those instances.

And they certainly know their stuff.

No Muppets there.

Bob.

I agree, really pretty damned good.

placed order tuesday morning, was,nt despatched till thursday evening(good job i,m in no rush)hoping to do a oil service today:mad:anyone else had poor service off these muppets?and wheres everyone ordering their service items.maybe its just my first time bad luck

Well Bart, there you have it.
20 replies and nothing but praise for Motorworks.
OH' better make that 21, 'cos I've got nothing but praise for them either :thumb2

hiya dudes it seems theres a fair few fellow tossers who are more than satisied with motorworks services so i can only presume i,ve caught them on a bad day or something(might even be down to just the run of bad luck i seem to be having) never the less due to the replies i shall be using them again and i do apologise to anyone by using the phrase "muppets"maybe that was a bit harsh:D

Hi BArt I use these folks quite a lot So add me as plus one on the positive

I was speaking to Martin this Morning and he was saying that they have caught up

There were 200 mail orders sitting waiting for them after new year

So much so that the folks were wondering Did everyone disappear into their sheds and garages over the christmas period and strip their bikes

Ooh Ohh Time for a poll :-)

Be right back

well there you go a sensible reason why the my orders late, but what does,nt help is when your told the order will be with you in a day or two and three days later its in the post but never mind water under the bridge an all that,i,m needing a o-ring for under filler cap so i,ll be giving motorworks another bash so better luck this time hey:)

Nothing but good things to say about Motorworks, especially when I needed a new starter motor in France.

Also, shipping oil is very different from shipping other items and I've had oil from them before and it's usually a 2 day delivery service from the carrier.

Whilst every customer is important, don't forget that there may be 200 orders in front of yours. And so many people, can only pack so much in any given working day.

This is a very busy time of year for motorycycle parts and accessories companies, as everyone wants to get their bikes ready for the spring.

Personally, I'd always allow a week for any items I ordered to be delivered.

Agree not muppets and I have used them several times, very helpfull and clued-up on the phone, but once had a wrong part sent (bagged up wrong) what a nightmare trying to rectify. Right part sent out next day, problem was I now had £200 debited instead of £100 and it was upto me to pay to send it back, so I rode up, in the shop I said instead of refunding my card I will be needing service kit soon so just swap for that easy? no they took payment of £100 of debit card then put £100 back on??
That said I still use them and recomend them.

I'm another tosser with a high opinion of Motorworks, they've always been very helpful. I only live 'over t'hill' from them and I've always rung them just before setting off to buy bits, always had everything I wanted in stock, with plenty of helpful advice thrown in.

havent had better service from any other company..... they are the best I have ever dealt with

I wonder who is the Muppet!

Despite the thread's title this has to be one of the best adverts for Motorworks & in my opinion it's well justified. Their service & product knowledge is exemplary. Being new to the BMW fold I've only odered twice from Motorworks but on both occasions the parts were dispatched promply. If I order parts from Ducati I can expect to wait weeks or even months (but its worth it :D)

Motorworks = great to deal with on the phone, prompt delivery, never any problems in past 5 or 6 years.

Sorry you were disappointed but "muppets" seems a bit harsh based on a small delay.:thumb

+1 Excellant company to deal with :thumb2

Just ordered some Siebenrock goodies and they informed me they weren't in stock but would be about a week or so. Also ordered BWM fairing and they had the super rare fixing kit in as well ( even BWM don't have any left !!)
Other stuff came the next day.

I've always had excellent service from Motorworks. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Others could look to them as an example.

Agreed - found them helpful, very quick indeed and always willing to sort out anything you ask. Mind you, they couldn't fix me up with a Dakar 1100 with delivery mileage for under a tenner, a mint 525e in champagne or a Brough Superior so, actually, they must be shite :D

i always nip in for my bits when I am passing, nice lot of peeps :thumb and some good facial topiary :bounce1 cant go wrong with a good quality beard :augie
I have only had one thing deliverd as it wasent in stock  next day delivery.

well shit happens and still no delivery,i just hope it don,t put me off my beer thinking about it has i,m out tonight for a few beers with the lads;)never mind theres allways monday

Bart the problem may well be the PO, I ordered a power unit for a PC on the 23th Dec, was assured it had been posted on Xmas eve and every reason to believe it was, it arrived yesterday :nenau
