When I last laid in a goodly stock of oil for a bike, I did a couple of oil changes then sold the thing. Leaving me with a large stock of oil.

Mind you, that was 13 plus years ago when out of the blue, Tesco were punting fully synthetic Castrol [Power 1??] Racing 10W-40 in 1ltr botles, as used by Triumph, at £2.50 a litre. I bought cases of the stuff as I had a Tiger 1050 at the time. I've still got a 1ltr bottle of it open in the garage for topping up my Scrambler 1200.

I remember that offer although I thought it was Mobil 1 rather than Castrol ?

No! Castrol Power 1 Racing. Just checked the last litre. Dated Aug 2012.
