Same here, had to stand under a hot shower for half an hour.

You're right Forry would have hated it but perhaps we should take him there just to show how awful it is

I've used a shovel to clean my bike

And loopy? Stone, bog, sky, stone, bog, bog.... in that order, Sorry Tina, I tried.........
I'm not doing that lane again for a while!

Although we only clocked about 35 mile all day, 3 miles took us about two and half hours........

But, What are we going to do next?

The ride

It all started off as a nice gentle trail ride

Then out into the hills.

A quick splash into a farmyard.

Then a lovely climb out of Ysbyty Ifan.

A bit of wet stuff

And a little known ford in Penmachno.

I'm already planning to get down for a repeat over Xmas

Ok dude, I'm off for a while during that time. We have got loads of lanes to try next time.............
I've got some work to do on the DRZ, right-hand radiator is broken.
I think this may be the last winter for this bike, I'll try to sell it and the XR600 in the New Year.

Then to the infamous Bwlch y Groes, probably one of the hardest legal trails in this country

We meet up with Justin on his C90 equiped with full knobbly tyres, don't mock this bike in his hands was fantastic.

Don't bring your GS here

Rick on his blinged up KTM 300 smoker/steamer...but more of that later

Jim's Husaberg was proving difficult to start, the battery was buggered so kickstarting a bike with water in the carb was a the last thing he needed here. It's hard enough just trying to ride the bikes, poor Jim was soon knackered

It was a relief to see the sky after so long in the forest

Love this bike h

100 yards of firm going

Then back to the wet stuff

Eventually we were free from Bwich y Groes and down to the road, a great trail.
Justin and Tina called it a day at this point and headed off home leaving the four of us to continue for the rest of the day on more lovely trails.

Dropping down here rather than climbing up..we were knackered.

Fish n chips in Betws y Coed then continuing on more trails until 5 o'clock.
We were all cream crackered, sign of a good day me thinks

Not worse, better
Longer, much more varied but wouldn't fancy it in wet conditions on a hot day. We were exhausted as you can see from the pics and videos


Glad you appreciate the er... skills Petcul but there were witnesses who can be called upon that Timpo did exactly the same.....he's probably tucked up in bed with his teddy right now
