Mines on the screen bar
Slightly left of centre so it doesnt interfere with the view of clocks

Thought this was better as you dont have to take your eyes so far off the road to look at it

hows it on Vibration ? Stick a Navman to the screen with the car sucker and couldn't see feck all for vibes

I fitted mine to the screen bars with the supplied RAM ball mount and it works fine. Good viewing position to the left of the speedo, no excessive vibration, and mainly out of the weather.

In the box is a RAM mount which will attach on to tububalr bars or the clamp brackets (eg PAN/STxx)

Based upon the Snowman reply, use a RAM-B-231Z and RAP-319 onto LHS of clocks and attach on to the oval rail. I would wrap a rubber strip around the oval rail as well. The remaining parts with short arm are fine. As to vib, the ball joint reduces most vib and shock, under test more than we mortals can:D

Vibes are not too bad - Screen is still readable - even with my reading glasses !!!!
Used a bit of clear plastic hose around the screen bar under the mount clamp

Todays delibearate mistake !!! - should of course read 'without' reading glasses - for those of you with images of a GSA going down the road with someone swapping specs at warp speed !!! :blast

Got mine fitted on the left handlebar, works fine easy access to the buttons for mp3 phone etc. Tried the screen mount well positioned screen but felt like I was stretching to reach the buttons.

Gazza,

where did you get those neat cast oil filler caps from ?

Love 'em

Gazza - that looks a neat location for the Zumo :thumb2

Is there a pic of your Adv showing the entire yellow paint scheme - looks intriguing :thumb2
