OK. On the recommendation of other on this forum and The Missenden Flyer, I have got myself some 18W Cree LED spotlights.

I was thinking of fashioning some sort of bracket to mount them above the OEL fog lights , but at nearly 4" wide they clash with the 'beak'.

I don't have any tubular crash bars or similar, so that's a non starter, so if anyone has some ideas as to where I can mount them, ( pics would be really useful as well!!) , I would be grateful

Richie

Probably a 1200GS LC as it's in this section

From the dark side this was sent

OK. Sorry for the confusion. 1200 GS TE and already have the additional BMW fogs which are fitted with an underbeak bracket.

Seriously why do you you want even more lights on it

if you cant see with what it has then dont ride at night otherwise you arte just going to be very very annoying to other road users

As for being seen if they cant see the LED DRL and the rest of the close encounter lights then they wont see another couple either

lower front forks? You should be able to pick up clamps off eBay. Too many lights up above will make your indicators invisible and that is not good.

Reddick. FYI they will be linked to my high beam via a EZ Cam, so no one should be affected. My daily commute is on unlit country roads and I'm a shift worker, so during the winter, it's always dark on my commute. IMHO, can't have enough light!....... and try not to be soo judgmental. I'm sure it doesnt suit you.
Everyone else, thanks.

OK OK

Linked to High beam is fine

I just get sick of seeing GS s looking like something from a science fiction film during daylight hours. If you have ever had one of these "lit up like a spaceship" behind you it gets annoying

No it doesn't.

All my friends have auxiliary lights, correctly positioned and it doesn't get annoying at all.

Get a grip man.
