Hi

I have just got hold of a BMW Navigator II and would like to know what brackets people have used to mount on the screen brace.

I have looked at the Migsel, but it seems a tad expensive.

Not sure that RAM do one....?

EDIT: I dont really want anything with a ball and an arm as I want the fitting to be close to the screen brace to minimise vibration. IE this on eBay not really what I am after.

Thanks

Richard.

Have you looked at the BM option?

Clamps to the upper cross bar, and above engine idle speeds, vibration isn't a problem.

Might have one for sale :augie

Thanks for that, I didnt know BM made one.....got any pics?

And how much? :thumb2

It's this one: http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160125&highlight=mount

I need to confirm I still have it though :(

Easy to adjust the angle of viewing and once the Nav 2 is locked in place using the security screw, you can roatate the mount / gp so that it's almost impossible to get at the screw. So harder for an opportunist thief to nick the gps unless they know about the screw and the rotation :)

There's also the GSA sat-nav mount from Alder Enterprises.....

can anyone recomend how to mount a nav3 onto a touratech gps bar which goes over the clocks on a standard gs
the mount shown above is no good as the touratech bar is much smaller diameter than the gsa windscreen brace
cheers

Thanks for all the suggestions, I bought the one from John in the end.

Frank, I also got a bracket from a mate of mine which is designed for a thinner diameter tube. Its a plastic part and I am told its BMW. I will try and post a pic later.

This is what you need. Sorry, no part number on it but try the BM dealers.
