This is a slightly strange problem (and apologies if covered in a previous thread), but I have a slight problem with starting my 2007 1200 GSA.
I turn the key to 12 o'clock, the dash comes on and displays the time, odometer etc, but no lights come on and I can't start the engine. Turn off and back on again, same deal. Usually after doing this 3, 4, 5 times the lights come on indicating Neutral etc and it fires up without any hesitation and no more problems (till I next try to start it). And sometimes it's ok first time round.
Being new to a GSA I thought maybe I have to hold in the clutch, maybe it has to be in neutral, maybe the stand has to be up, etc, but no amount of experimentation seems to find the 'right process'.
Is there a 'right process' or is this a common issue, or am I loosing it??!!
Thanks in advance
Barry.
