Hello,
Just traded my GS for my first RT (Polar Blue '10 Model in great condition, a real credit to first owner) and want to mount my Garmin Zumo 350. The bike came with a satnav mounting bar (BMW genuine part) above the clocks and I, somewhat naively, assumed I could just fit the Zumo. Both the Zumo 550 and 600 series were sold by BMW under the Navigator III and IV names but I believe the 350 was not. Therefore the square black plastic thing (getting the hint I'm not technical yet?) that the bar passes through and the mount bolts onto is 90 degrees out, my old 550 would have fitted perfectly but the 350 does not. It just seems that the 350 has a different configuration of bolt holes in the mount.
Does anyone know of a replacement 'thing' or have a suggestion? I'd rather not use the Ram mount with the U-Bolt and ball and socket as the 350 would sit very far forward and I like the idea of the satnav in that position.
And help and advice much appreciated.
