MP3 files??

What program can I use for making MP3 files. I wan't to copy some of my CD-Roms anto a MP3 player but cant find a program,

I thought Window media layer would do it but that just makes them into WMV files??

Any advice??

Windows Media PLayer WILL do it....I've got V10 on one machine and 11beta on another and theybothrip to MP3

Audio grabber is very good.

Do you need a player as well?

iTunes is a love it/hate it program - I use it, but I know others hate it. This will also convert to MP3 as you import stuff.

Thanks guys - I uploaded Ver.10 of Microsoft Media player which works fine. The one I was trying to think of was Audio grabber but MS Media is fine.

I did have a few problems after downloading the Ver.10 as I couldn't see my external Hard disk any more (Sony PSP). I did a restore to a few days previous and it works fine now even with Ver 10 installed. I guess the download changed something along the way.
