I am trying to get music to play on a new mini MP3 player.

The volume (even on max is too low )and I want to increase it as well as equalizing all tracks.

Can't seem to get the tracks loaded into MP3 Gain.

Cam anyone help.....would also appreciate help on doing the same exercise on iplayer.

If it makes a difference I am on a PC :nenau:nenau

If you just need to amplify your volume try a Boostraoo. Portable, about 4inches long and runs off 2 AA batts, which last for years........ Its great at boosting volume and keeping music clear.
Just type boostraoo into ebay and should find one. About £19 ish:thumb2

Has the MP3 player got a "safety lock" on max volume like some Sony units did/do? You can go in and override it....

Check out "Audacity", it's a free and decent program that should let you "normalise" your tracks. That means making them as loud as possible without distortion. Save those and copy back to your mp3 player.
