MS Project?

Posted on the wanted section as well but seems appropriate to ask here;

I cannot afford MS Project at the moment and certainally dont need all the whistles and bells. Is there a freeware jobbie that anyone can recommend for simple project planning?

My Wanted ad asks for any donation of MS Project, if you have a vista compatable copy which you have superceded I'd be grateful.

Thanks for the replies and excellent assistance - which comes as no surprise knowing what soooooper people we all are.

Tried the freeware but it needs a brain to sort out a problem - although the free site forum has the solution I need a 'puter linguist' to interpret!

If anyone else wants free programme to project plan its certainally worth looking at.

Mean while I am eagerly awaiting my copy of ms Project from my mate.....
