Mudsling or Cymarc Crud Catchers

Confused which to buy

Wait for the GS 1200 LC Mudsling Fender Extender or buy the Cymarc Crud Catcher (touring edition)

Anybody got any opinions of thoughts?

I always prefer the crud catcher route (albeit not from cymarc) for my bikes.
A fender extender will still allow stones to hit your front casing and cause damage (maybe thrown up by a vehicl you are following not just your front wheel).
A crud catcher is a surefire way of properly protecting the front casing imho so there's no competition

Once the fender extender is released, I'll get one, as long as it will fit with the crud catcher. It's a little tight behind the front wheel, so we'll see.

Well Cyber, I have to say I'll be going for both,

The cymarck touring imho is a great product, i've had it on now for a couple of thousand miles, and does the job and looks great,

It wouldn't surprise me if the front fender extender, (when it comes out) won't fit with the crud catcher,not much room down there, we'll have to see

If you look on the German Wunderlich site they have one listed BUT ..... when I contacted them to purchase it I was told it would be the middle of JULY !!!

Had an e-mail from the makers of mudsling.


Thanks for the inquiry. We are working on a MudSling now for the GSLC. We've completed the design of an Avant front fender extension - the bike very much needs one because of the short front fender - and tooling is underway.

I'll be in touch when both items are ready to go.
