Had new boots fitted to the GSA today (Tourances) and had to remove the Mudsling as it was rubbing with the new tyres on. Should be ok to go back on after a few thousand miles, anyone else had this?

Original mudsling or chinese one.............
I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. Had Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2's fitted instead of Anakee 3's and was rubbing. Hopefully can refit when tyres have had some use. Was genuine Mudsling not copy...

Yep they do say on their website certain tyres have clearance problems, suppose their list is not up to date.

I’ve had Tourance (originals) on mine and have an original Mudsling. Never had any trouble. Having said that the Avons on at the moment rub but only when the bike is on the stand.

They did rub very slightly on the centre stand but once off it they didn't, or didn't with my Roadtec 01's or PR4's....
I had the same on my 14 gsa with roadtech 01’s, just about to get them on my 66 gsa so I’ll let you know then.

I fitted the mudsling from new on my 2015 GSA. It was fine with the Anakee 3s.
Put on tourance next after a puncture and noticed when I rolled the bike out of the garage there was a slight rub, barely kissing it really. I ran the bike with rider + luggage on the suspension as I’m fat.
With me sitting on the bike it no longer touched. Now probably going over bumps on full extension it will kiss. All I can say is with 2k Km with the tourance next it never caused me a problem. No marks on the tyres and no burnt rubber on the mudsling. I checked a few times after rides on bumpy roads and there was no heat on the mudsling which I would expect if there was any serious or sustained contact.

This is what I found, I've had a couple of different tyres rub whilst on the centre stand, the latest being a PR4, but when I took the mudsling off (after a couple of hundred miles of supposed rubbing) there was no sign that the tyre had been touching it in normal use.

Not much difference from the older days with certain tyres touching the mudguards, A3,s are a good tyre anyway in my opinion
Isn't there a small spacer kit you get with the mudsling which you can use to slightly shift its position?
I had the same experience on my GSA.
I solved the problem by doing the following.
I took some cardboard pieces and doubled them several times, then I squeezed the cardboard spacer between the rear tire and the Mudsling so there were a distance of 1,5 cm between the rubber and Mudsling. With the cardboard spacer keeping the distance to the tire I heated the Mudsling so it changed it's shape and stayed away from the tire.
When the mudsling cooled of it was reformed, literally speaking
