Archaeo - I fitted a pair to my 650 Dakar this weekend. I found that it was quite a tight fit with the BMW handguards and the bar weights in place, which kind of stretches the muffs out and doesn't give a lot of room for up and down movement (i.e. throttle twisting or standing up on the pegs) so I'm going to replace the bar end weights with something to space the handguards out a little, but not as much as the weights. I hope that makes sense.
Anyway, I took a little 50 mile ride with the muffs on and my hands were the warmest part of me, so toasty thumbs up to Steptoe.

There are pictures of a certain recent trip to Africa abounding in this webforumthingy where you can see the aforementioned muffs. By decent picture do you mean how they are attached etc, although why I am answering this I do not know. Just that there are pictures around...

...319 or 323 ???

Now totally baffled ???

Which model are you offering and will they fit on my 12GS

Muffs received

My muffs arrived today, just a few days after ordering from Steptoe.

Excellent service! :thumb

Thanks Steptoe - another :thumb
Received the day after requesting a set, fitted in 10 minutes.
Make a HUGE difference - was out on the bike all day Sunday, did over 350 miles, very cold and wet conditions, but hands roasty toasty.

No, all gone - I only placed an order for the people that asked. And then the muff company ballsed it up, no more shite bags till september, and i'm not doing the muffs again, can do without the grief.
Thanks everybody, sorry if you got left out on the order, not my fault, but it's me that bears the brunt.

I should have learnt my lesson from the early december fiasco, Italian companys are worse than me :D

Sorry to hear that your not selling any more, was thinking of getting some from you.
Does anyone else know where to get them from? I'm sure someone mentioned a scooter shop ages ago :nenau ?

:(

Just dug this thread out as I tried to fit a set of muffs I was given and found they don't fit round the 1150's handguards :( and now Neil's stopped selling them.

So I'm with The Rover - anyone know where to get some of these or which one's will fit round the guards? :nenau
